1. I don't live in North Carolina. Can I still be a patient? 

 YOU MUST BE PHYISCALLY IN NORTH CAROLINA DURING YOUR INITIAL CONSULT. In the future we hope to expand our area of practice to other states. 

2. What is Semaglutide, and how does it help with weight loss?

Semaglutide is a medication originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes. Our clinic's medical professionals carefully evaluate your medical history and individual health factors to determine if Semaglutide is a safe and appropriate option for you.

3. How do I get started with your telehealth weight loss clinic?

To get started, simply reach out to Simone Medical to schedule an appointment. You'll have an initial consultation with medical provider who will assess your health and discuss your weight loss goals. If deemed suitable, they will prescribe a GLP-1 medication as part of a comprehensive weight loss program.

4. Do I need to come in for in-person appointments?

No, our clinic offers telehealth services, so you can consult with our medical team from the comfort of your home. 

5. What is the cost of the program, and is it covered by insurance?

The cost of our telehealth weight loss program, including Semaglutide, may vary depending on individual doses and which medication is prescribed. Currently, plans start at $295/month.  Simone Medical is not currently working with any insurance carriers.

6. How much weight can I expect to lose with Semaglutide?

The amount of weight you can lose with Semaglutide varies from person to person. On average, clinical trials have shown significant weight loss, but individual results may differ. Your success will also depend on your commitment to dietary and lifestyle changes.

7. Are there any side effects associated with Semaglutide?

8. Is Semaglutide a long-term solution for weight loss?

That said, our goal is to improve your overall health. Semaglutide is just another tool in your toolbelt to help you accomplish this. We will also discuss other lifestyle changes that can aid in your weightloss and overall health.

9. Can I continue other weight loss strategies while using Semaglutide?

Yes, you can incorporate other weight loss strategies, such as diet and exercise, while taking Semaglutide. In fact, a holistic approach to weight management is often the most effective.

10. How do I know if Semaglutide is right for me?

Determining if Semaglutide is right for you involves a comprehensive assessment by our medical team. Factors such as your medical history, current medications, and weight loss goals will be considered. One of the most basic qualifications is BMI. You need to have a minimum BMI of 27%. You can determine your BMI by searching "BMI Calculator" online.
